Good Friday morning. I hope this finds everyone well. It finds me recovering. I really hate being sick. But, it seems to be a part of my life. You think I would be used to it by now. Anyway, there is so much digiscrap newness out today. Besides being my first day of the weekend. I love Friday's because most of the goodies come out that day. I just hear my email dinging on my phone with all those newsletters calling me to spend that money. :) Well, I am going to tempt you today as well. :) That is what I do best. I am a dig-temptress. ;)

Good morning! I hope this finds everyone well. I am sick. :( My sinuses are kicking my rear. Or kicking me in the head really. sigh. But I didnt come here to complain. I came here to show you a really awesome, snowtastic, new kit!

We havent had any snow yet this winter! I am kinda bummed about it. Bug is really bummed about it. It is supposed to get down below 20 degrees tonight. I did a lot of scrapping this past year! I was on quite a few CTs and that meant a lot of scrapping!! I have, unfortunately, had to cut back on my CTs due to family obligations and work. But I loved all the pages I got from them. I keep all my layouts in folders by year. 2011 I scrapped 446 layouts. That is more than the days of the years!! Whew! Well, that is it. I constantly would get a new favorite layout with each layout that I did. lol. I think that is common for scrappers. I think though out of all my layouts my favorite from 2011 is "What's that?" The owl layout. I had been waiting about 2 years to scrap that layout.

Happy 2012!! I hope this is finding everyone well. The Bears brought in 2012 snuggled in bed watching movies. Yeah, we party hard! lol. Really I would have wanted to be no where else! I am back on my scrapping/blogging game though. The end of the year wears me out. It is one of the busiest times in transportation here in the states (which is, of course, what I work in) Not to mention, Thanksgiving, Bug's birthday, Christmas, and New years all right there close to each other. I love me some Christmas kits!! I do not get burnt out on them. Being that momma that chases my kid around with the camera and takes waaaay too many photos, I have plenty to scrap with! :) So, I love this time of year and all the great Christmas goodies that come out. Modern June has a great new kit out. Perfect for wish lists and those letters to Santa photos. I havent gotten a photo of Bug writing (scribbling on a sheet of paper) to Santa. So I went the wish list way. My momma and I were talking tonight. I have always had a wish list. My hubby is so hard to by for!! He never can tell me what he wants. Well, this was supposed to post yesterday while I was sleeping. However, it didnt. So, I will just nudge everything by a day. :)

I know it has been a while. Work has been draining. Transportation and holidays equals busy!! So I have just been coming home and crashing. Very little time for scrapping and no time for blogging. But since we are in the middle of Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is a smidgen slower. Thankfully!

He would make me play it all the time. Welll this year, all on his own, he asked me to play the Grinch. This year, however, he sang along with it. His own words. Throwing in the right ones from time-to-time. However when it gets to the part "Stink, Stank, Stunk" he belts out at the top of his lungs...."STINK! STANK! STUMP!" lol!! I have tried to get him to hear and say stunk. He just doesnt. It is the cutest!!

Well, normally it is Jerr's pick of the week. But he is really sick. He NEVER gets sick. But when he does, boy he does. So, since I get sick when the wind blows funny and I rather not have to deal with puking every few mins, he is closed off in the bedroom. I had some time to scrap today. Since I trimmed back on my CTs, I had the chance to go into my very large kit stash and scrap. It was a lot of fun to go in there and look around and pick one out. It took me getting all the ways down to the U's before I picked on out. lol. This kit is retired and I have never used it. sigh...I am sure I have quite a few like that in my stash. Good evening! I am finally able to get out of the bed and kinda function. Seriously I cannot catch a break it seems. I tossed my hair over to blow dry it (like I have done since I have been 13ish) and couldnt stand back up. Yep. That's right. I threw my back out. But with a lot of care from my hubby, icy hot, heating pad, and lying around today (oh yeah, and care from Bug too. lol) I seem to be on the mend. But boy did it hurt!! Good Morning!! I just dropped my kiddo off at his Nona's house and I am about to turn in for the day. (We are going to a scary amusement park today. yay!) But before I do, I thought that you should see a pretty awesome new release out today. No, I havent forgotten my scrappy blog. I have been adjusting. I resigned nearly all my CTs. Shock!! I know!! The CT junkie has resigned most of her CTs. It was the right thing to do. Not only for me personally, but for the designers and other CT members. I wasnt giving myself 100% and was seriously stressing about finding time to scrap. This is a hobby...that I love. Shouldnt be a source of stress. I did stay on a few of them. It was really hard to choose who I was going to stay on. I love all the designers I work for. That isnt just words. I mean it. I didnt apply to CTs just for free kits. Granted, that was the orginal reason. But, it then became about being part of something. Helping designers. Making digi-friends. So, I came today to really show some layouts. Hopefully, after this post, I will be back with my more normal posting. :D

Good Morning everyone!! I am attempting to be human today. I had my wisdom tooth taken out Friday after having worked all night the night before. They put me under to take it out. Good morning!! I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. I worked and yesterday was a rain filled day! We went from having a August of no rain to catching up all that rain in 24hrs. There are a lot of places around here flooded. :( I love some wind and rain, but whew. I also spent most of Monday in the bed fighting a migraine.Which just stinks. This is my last week having 4 days off. They have changed my work shift to working 4 days and having 3 days off. :( *sigh* Anyway. On to digi-goodnes!!

Hello! Another Saturday is upon us. To most it is the best day of the week. To me, it is the worst. I always am super duper busy that day of the weekend. To boot...college football started today and I am going to miss it. :*( For the first time in years!! I didnt even keep up with anything this year b/c I knew I wouldnt get to watch much of anything. *sigh* But oh well. What I am here to show you is digi-goodness. Not talk about my issues. So lets get that party started.

I was asked to be on Bella Gypsy's CT and I just couldnt be happier. I have been a HUGE fan of their designs since first starting scrapping. And what makes it even better....the first kit out since starting on their CT is an Autumn kit. Score! They are my favorites. I would say a good 20% of my HUGE stash is autumn kits. ♥ I love the colors of this kit and the pattern papers. LOVE those! Loss is something that we all have to deal with. It is a sad part of our lives. But as memory preservers, I think it is something that we should scrap. Such a beautiful kit. You can scrap anything with this kit. However, it has just the right touches to scrap those people that we have lost or painful things that we need to get out. 4 Days until My Birthday!

Wow. I cant believe that in 4 days it will be my 28th birthday and September. That's just crazy!! I was looking around for awesome birthday kits. I know there are great boy birthday kits out there. I have scrapped with nearly every one of them. Well, that's a bit of an exaggeration. But you get the idea. I was looking around for some awesome girly ones. I hardly ever get to scrap the pretty girly ones. I was blown away by them. I dont know where to start or what to pick. These are some of my favorites. I dont know what I am going to pick. (I will probably pick more than one) But I thought I would show everyone else some amazing birthday kits while I was looking around.

I really love the colors scheme of this kit!! Very girly but just the perfect hint of boy to scrap everyone. I love the chandelier and the metal elements. Such a diva birthday kit!

I am generally against orange. But this one caught me because of the orange. I love the color scheme of this kit. I think its the fantastic papers that give it more of an adult feel. And I guess since I am getting closer to 30.....lol.

I am a one photo layout type of girl if I am doing them from scratch. I dont know why. But I tend to lean towards just one photo. Even when scrapping with templates I lean towards the one photo templates. So I was super happy to see Crossbone Cuts new set of templates out this week over at ScrapMatters. Slow and Steady Wins the Race

Hello! How is everyone? I am getting over being sick as well as my kiddo. He got hit with the sickies pretty hard. It has been over a week. It is allergies and sinuses but boy it has hit us hard. One day he will have it bad and feel better the next day. The day that he is feeling better, I will feel bad. And so on. Today we both felt pretty decent. So, I am hoping that we are on the mend.
Today is new release day for Pardon the Mess. She has a super cute kit out this week too! I would have sworn it was made for my kiddo and this shirt he has. So, what did I do? I put him in that shirt and took photos. :D That's right! I am that Mom!

Reading Opens Worlds!

Good morning. I am sitting here as the painters are outside talking about how I was asleep when they got here. Yeah, I was. I wasnt waiting up for them to get here when they didnt give a set time. I totally answered the door in my PJs too! :D Now, get in the house, stop talking about me, and get to work! Geez! The guy who did my floors was fantastic and a really nice guy. Guess, I was expecting that. But once the wall painting is done, our fixing the floor venture is done! Thank the Lord!
Today is also a great day for me!! I am going to go have lunch with my sisters. That's right. It was plural. I honestly can not remember the last time all 3 of us hung out together. I am sure it was when we were kids. There is a lot of history there. Not all of it the best. But, this lunch is for new beginnings. As the older of the 3, I couldn't be happier!! I just might cry!!
But you didnt come here to listen to me complain about painters and get sappy about my sisters. You know what time it is!! It is scrappy time! With maybe a freebie thrown in. ;)

Winter and Summer!

Yup! I am stopping by on this rainy day today to show you something a little bit warm and a little bit warm. :) While I am sitting here a little bit in the middle where I am at.
Today kinda started out wonky. I woke up way later than I planned. See, I use my phone as an alarm (yeah, dont get on to me) and some how it ended up under my bed last night or this morning. So, I didnt hear my alarm go off (and you can ask my Momma, I am right on time or late to nearly everything. sigh) Anyway, Bug had a his first dentist appt today at 09:45. We woke up at 10:00. Well, I woke up at 10:00. I went and pounced on his bed at about 11:00 and made him wake up. {sigh} Makes me feel like a slacker mommy when I over sleep like that. I was telling Isaiah we over slept and couldn't go to the dentist. lol. He said "That's alright Mommy. I oversleep too!" lol. I love that Bug!!

Good morning. Well, Bug is at school and the floor people are back at it. I am going to have a day of scrapping. It is much needed. I am quite behind on my scrapping duties and in much need of some scrapping therapy! But before I get down to it, I wanted to come by and show you some digi-goodness. It is also one of the things I like about scrapping...enabling. lol
The Design Girl has a beautiful new kit out this past week. Any time I see a kit of this kind, I usually scrap in the panda realm. It's part of me. I have always loved pandas. Its how Jerr gave me my nickname "Shawn Bear" This kit is beautiful. I just love the colors and all the beautiful oriental elements. The bamboo and the flowers. The little dolls. It is just a darling kit!

Road Trip...headache...&...floors!

Good afternoon. Well, this Monday was nothing like I planned it to be. As I was going to sleep last night, I felt a headache coming on. Instead of being proactive and taking meds, I was lazy and just went to sleep. Yeah, bad mistake. I woke up with a killer migraine. :( Which meant no pool for Isaiah and me lying in the bed in misery. Trying not to puke on my little guy while he was loving on me and kissing my forehead to "make it better." Yeah, I am that loved! :D In the middle of all that, Jerr sends me a text to tell me the floor people are coming over. Wonderful. I mean I am happy they are coming to fix the floors...finally. But dont think that will help my head any. I doped myself up on migrane meds, turned the a/c down and slept for hours. By the time the floor people got here (late) my migraine was just a headache. That is bearable and I will happily deal with that to get my floors in!! So, that is what he is doing while I am doing this.
But, really I came here today to show you a really cool kit! I have scrapped my vacation silly! But on the way back, I took photos in the car. Jerr asked me what I was doing. lol. (I was in full scrappy momma mode. lol) I told him "I bet I am going to need these" Sure enough...I did!

Good morning. I am about to get ready to head out to the pool with the family. It is Thursday. My last day off of the week. :( But new release day at The DigiChick! I know I say it ever week. Dreaming of You

Good afternoon. I just got back home from lunch with Jerr. I am not a fan of leaving the house. I much rather just hermit up in the house when I am not at work. But when it is always nice to go have lunch with my two guys! We went to go look at more flooring for the house. Yay! We are at that point. The contractor is just waiting on us to pick something out so that he can get to work on fixing it back up. We are not fighting, by any means, but we are are not agreeing on the flooring. The paint for the walls was easy. The floors we struggle with. I think we finally have it picked out now. So, it shouldn't be too much longer before my floors are fixed and my living room is habitable again. I know two guys that live with me that will be happy! They miss that big TV. lol. I am a more of a cuddle up on the bed and read while I am watching TV type of person (unless I am watching Bones. That gets my undivided attention. lol)

Movie Monday

Two words. Bitter sweet.

I cannot believe this is coming to an end. I have read these books since high school. Now I am nearly 30 and re-reading book #7 and the last movie is coming out Friday. I think this is the best book they have done in movie (even though it is my least favorite book) I am so looking forward to watching this! I wont be able to see it Friday, due to work. I am going to see if I can convince Jerr to take me a week from today though.

Yeppers, its that time of week again. I am at work. Way earlier than anyone should be awake. However, it is also time for new releases at ScrapMatters. Woot! I hope this finds everyone well! I am enjoying a day off with Jeremy. Yay! We hardly ever have days of together. So, it is quite nice. Today, I came by to show you some scrappy goodness. Some science scrappy goodness. Pardon The Mess Designs has a fun new kit out this week. It is perfect for those home school photos. I used them for Isaiah's Creative Discovery Museum photos. "Super Conductor" is for the science nerd in us all! This kit is great for scrapping children as well as adult pages. The colors used in this kit are red, blue, green, yellow, orange, and purple.
